Rosewood Family Scholarship
Scholarship for eligible minority students who are enrolled full-time in a degree (minimum of 12 credit hours) or certificate (minimum of 24 clock hours per week) program at a state university, public community college, or public postsecondary vocational-technical school. Student must not have previously received a bachelor's degree, and must demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required); Florida residents must submit the FAFSA in time to be processed by May 15, non-Florida residents must submit their Student Aid Report (SAR) by May 15. Students who are direct descendants of African-American Rosewood families affected by the incidents of January 1923 will receive priority. It is expected that all available scholarships will be awarded to Rosewood descendants.
