Idaho Nursing Schools and Programs
Idaho has an amazing outdoor community that will sustain and adventure or nature seeking person out there. Central Idaho is home to one of North America's oldest ski resort, Sun Valley; where the world's first chairlift was installed. Snow sports are one of the mainstays of Idaho, with a ski resort adjacent to nearly every urban area. Whitewater rafting and kayaking are among the state's major pastimes. The waters of Snake River rush through Hells Canyon, deepest canyon in the United States. Shoshone Falls plunges down rugged cliffs from a height greater than that of Niagara Falls. Surely the beauty of all this will keep peace in the life of a nursing student!
Idaho offers several nursing programs for prospective students which are listed below. The options of nursing programs in Idaho may not be as abundant in comparison to other states; however the level of education is still top-notch. While we give you Idaho’s nursing programs; Idaho State University is the only facility that offers a master’s degree. Idaho is in the process of building new facilities to educate the next generation of nurses to help alleviate the nursing shortage. Idaho’s prediction is that the state nursing shortage is double that of the national nursing shortage. Therefore, there are plenty of opportunities of nursing in the state and they are more than willing to educate and help you further your career goals!
