Scholarship for Florida residents who are graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Tampa. Students must be members of the Florida League for Nursing, Florida residents for a minimum of one year, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA or "B" grade. Deadlines and award amounts may vary. Occupational Therapist & Physical Therapist Loan Forgiveness Program
Scholarship for Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists, or Therapist Assistants who are employed as a therapist in Florida public schools for a minimum of 90 days. Applicant must be a licensed therapist or have a valid temporary permit, and must intend to stay employed as a therapist in the Florida public schools for a minimum of 3 years. Applicant must apply by July 15 following their first year of full-time employment as a therapist in a Florida public school. Awards made on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to renewal applicants. Award amount for undergraduate loans is up to $2,500 per year, and for graduate loans up to $5,000, for a maximum of four academic years or a total of $10,000, whichever comes first. Applicants who have been employed at least 90 days, but not for the full 180 days, are eligible for up to 1/2 of a full award.
