First-Year Student Merit Scholarship
Southwestern University awards a variety of scholarships to student who demonstrate academic excellence regardless of a family's financial circumstances. Approximately one-third of Southwestern students receive merit scholarships, with the average award being $8,539 a years. The application for admission is also the application for merit scholarships. The Cody, Mood, & Ruter scholarships range from $16,000 to $27,000 per year, and up to $15,000 is awarded per Pirate Award per year. more...
Transfer Student Merit Scholarships
Southwestern University awards a variety of scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence regardless of a familys financial circumstances. About 85% of transfer students received some type of financial assistance from Southwestern. The application for admission is also the application for merit scholarships.
