Summary: To provide financial assistance for college to outstanding women bowlers. .

Eligibility: Open to women amateur bowlers who are current members in good standing of the Young American Bowling Alliance (YABA) or the Women's International Bowling Congress (WIBC) and competitors in events sanctioned by those organizations. Applicants must be high school or college students younger than 22 years of age, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and have a bowling average of 175 or greater. They may not have competed in a professional bowling tournament. Along with their application, they must submit an essay, up to 500 words, on how this scholarship will influence their bowling, academic, and personal goals. Selection is based on bowling performances on local, regional, state, province, and national levels; academic achievement; and extracurricular involvement.

Financial data: The stipend is $1,500 per year.

Duration: 1 year; may be renewed for 3 additional years.

Additional information: This award, named in honor of the former president of the WIBC, is sponsored by WIBC and administered by the YABA.

Number awarded: 1 each year.

Deadline: October of each year.
