Annual award for graduate students attending the University of Illinois-Springfield who are enrolled in the Graduate Public Service Internship program. Selection based on leadership in areas of human rights, civil liberties or environmental protection. Applicant must be in good standing, minimum 3.0 GPA, file the FAFSA, have financial need, and write a personal narrative. Preference will be given to student's whose emphasis is on municipal governments. Nonrenewable.
