Scholarship for Alabama residents who are incoming freshmen enrolled at the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa majoring in English. Students must demonstrate financial need, character, and motivation. Due dates are December 1st for freshmen and January 15 for transfer students. Number of awards may vary. A writing sample must be included with application packet. Renewable.
