The ADHA Institute Minority Scholarship is open to full-time students enrolled in an associate/certificate, bachelors, masters or doctoral program in dental hygiene or dental hygiene education. You must be a member of an underrepresented group in dental hygiene programs. This group includes: African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans and males. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have completed at least one year in a dental hygiene program and demonstrate a financial need of at least $1,500. You must also be a member of the Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA).

Additional Information


Students working towards an associates degree must receive their licensure as a dental hygienest in the year the award is being made. Student pursuing a baccalaureate degree must be eligible for dental hygiene licensure in the year the award is being made.
