Scholarship for children and/or spouses of deceased public employees who died in the line of duty and are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time at an accredited vocational/technical school, two- or four-year college or university. Students must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusal personal or family circumstances and an outside appraisal. An official letter certifying that the employee died in the line of duty must be included with application packet.
