Scholarship for undergraduate students, with a junior or senior standing, pursuing research in the Microscopy field, with the intent to pursue a career in this area upon graduation. Applications in all areas of microscopy will be accepted for review. Student must be a U. S. citizen or resident alien. Research programs must be carried out in a U.S. laboratory, and may be performed at a facility other than the one in which the student is enrolled. In addition to application, student must submit a research proposal, a budget proposal, two letters of reference, a letter of acceptance from the laboratory supervisor, letter of recommendation, and a curriculum vitae including career goals. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
