Annual award for part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate student planning to pursue a degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, and must be a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers ($15/year). Preference will be given to students that reside within the Craters of the Moon Chapter, Idaho and the Region II (MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM) area (in that order) will have priority on this award. Students that are an employee or dependent of a sponsoring organization, serving the country through active duty in the armed forces or honorably discharged, a member of the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, FFA, 4H, etc. in previous years, recipients of awards from service organizations or have provided volunteer service to an ASSE chapter in a leadership role will also receive priority on this award. ASSE general or professional membership required for part-time students. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
