Scholarship for undergraduate students (freshmen ineligible) enrolled full-time at a two- or four-year technical school or college majoring in, but not limited to, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration. Students must be seeking a career in the plastics industry. Selection is based on academic performance, financial need, school and community involvement and personal achievements. Preference given to students living in the geographical area served by the Carolinas Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (central and western North Carolina and all of South Carolina). Finalists must attend an interview. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.
