Scholarship for New York residents who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending a college or university in New York pursuing a degree leading to licensure in specific professions. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Selection priority is given first to: Students who are economically disadvantaged and members of a minority group underrepresented in the professions. Second priority to: Members of a minority group underrepresented in the professions. Third priority to: Students enrolled in or graduated from particular state supported opportunity programs. Recipients must agree to practice in their chosen profession in New York State. Renewable.
