Annual fellowships for graduate students enrolled full-time in a doctoral program who are interested in all fields of research pertinent to epilepsy. (e.g. Neuroscience, Physiology, Pharmacolgy, Psychology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Nursing, or Pharmacy). Applicants must have a defined dissertation research project, have a qualified mentor and have access to institutional resources to conduct the project. Selection is based on quality of proposed project, relevance of the proposed work to epilepsy, applicant's interest in the field of epilepsy, applicant's qualifications, mentor's qualifications, adequacy of facility and the quality of the training environment for research related to epilepsy. Students who are women, members of minority groups, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Number of awards may vary.
