Annual award for senior undergraduate students, junior or senior CP students, graduate students or dietetic interns. Student must be admitted or enrolled in a graduate program in the field of Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Foods, Nutrition, or Food System Management at an Alabama college or university; or enrolled in a CADE accredited dietetic internship in Alabama; or a junior or senior level student in a CADE accredited coordinated program at an Alabama university; or a senior level student enrolled in a didactic program with plans of enrolling in a dietetic internship or graduate school at an Alabama institution/university. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to legal residents of one of Madison, Limestone, Morgan, Marshall, Cullman or Jackson Counties. Applicant must be a member of the American Dietetic Association. Selection is based on academic achievement, potential in the field of dietetics and nutrition, leadership, financial need, letters of recommendation, and letter of application. Submit original application and three copies. Due date and number of awards varies.
