Annual award for African-American undergraduate or graduate students who plan to enter their first year (or are currently in their first year) of law school in the United States. Students must write a proposal geared towards an area of law (i.e. African Law, Property, Civil Rights, etc.) as it reflects NBLSA's convention theme (to be announced). The student's proposal must state an idea that he/she would like to see changed and how they propose to effectuate that change. Submit resume, two letters of recommendation, official transcript, acceptance letter to law school, four copies of proposal, and a list of community service activities with application packet.
