Annual fellowships for full-time graduate students attending a U.S. institution pursuing a doctoral degree in a Science or Engineering field which is of military importance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, be at or near the beginning of graduate studies, and demonstrate ability and special aptitude for advanced training in science and engineering. Selection is based on academic ability through review of academic records, personal statements, recommendations and Graduate Record Examination scores. award amount pays full tuition, fees and a stipend.
