Annual award for North American Indians attending or planning to attend Michigan public state community/junior colleges or state colleges or universities part- or full-time. Applicants must be North American Indians who are Michigan residents for at least 12 months and are not less than 1/4 blood quantum as certified by the person's tribal association and verified by the Michigan Commission on Indian Affairs. All level applicants may qualify; Masters and Doctoral work is included. Due date and number of awards varies. Award if for full tuition.
