Description

 

Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled full-time at a postsecondary institution majoring in Metallurgical and/or Materials Science and Engineering with an emphasis on both traditional (aluminum, magnesium, beryllium, titanium, lithium, and other reactive metals) and emerging (composites, laminates, etc.) light metals. Students must be Material Advantage program members and/or be applying for membership at the same time. Preference given to college juniors or seniors who have participated in a relevant industrial co-op program. Selection is based on academic achievement, school and extracurricular activities, and leadership. A personal statement must be included with application packet.
