Scholarship for Oregon residents who are undergraduate or graduate students (freshmen & sophomores ineligible) enrolled in a four year college/university and are majoring in a Public Health Profession. Persons planning to enter a private practice are ineligible. First preference given to graduate students and secondly juniors or seniors in such programs as nursing, medical technology, physician assistant, etc. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, file the FAFSA, and be part- to full-time students. An essay is required. Recipients may reapply and compete annually. Award amount and number of awards vary. Contact the Commission for more information and/or application.
