Scholarship for full-time undergraduate students (freshmen ineligible) enrolled at an accredited college or department of Mortuary Science. Students must be in the third quarter of studies at the time of application, have a minimum overall average of 85% in each of the first two quarters of study and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have expressed the intent to enter funeral service with an independently owned firm within the state of Florida. Preference given to students with employment experience. Due dates are April 1 for June award and October 1 for December award. Number of awards and award amounts may vary. A recent photograph must be included with application packet.
