Annual award for Kansas residents (Barber, Barton, Harper, Kingman, Pratt, Reno, Rice or Stafford County) entering or returning to a Kansas junior or senior college and planning to pursue a degree in agriculture (i.e. Agriculture Economics, Agronomy, Animal Sciences or a related field). Selection is based on academic achievement, personal livestock enterprises, 4-H FFA/KJLA Activities and Leadership, School activities and Leadership, work experience, honors or recognition and career plans.
