Annual award for Georgia residents who plan to pursue postsecondary education at an accredited college or university to study the field of Nursing. Applicant must be working at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, or currently in college pursuing a Nursing degree, with plans to work at the Medical Center upon graduation. Preference will be given to students with financial need. Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and a demonstrated ability to succeed in an academic environment. Candidates must have a caring attitude, be of high moral character and show a willingness to succeed in the nursing profession. Number of awards varies. Renewable.
