Annual award for undergraduate student-athlete attending Ashland University full-time, who is a member of the varsity football team, majoring in Sports Science. Applicant must have good social and academic standing (minimum 2.5 GPA). Consideration given for financial need, but not a determining factor. First preference given to descendants of the Valentine family. Due date and award amount varies.
