Annual award for Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, or District of Columbia residents enrolled full-time at an accredited postsecondary institution. Applicants must be undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, Medical Sciences or Nursing; graduate students must be majoring in Biotechnology/Bio-Engineering, Genetic Sciences, or Political Science. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be of Greek descent OR members or children of members of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), the Daughters of Penelope, Sons of Pericles, or the Maids of Athena. Consideration given to financial need. Number of awards may vary. An essay and a photograph must be included with application packet.
