Annual award for Alabama residents who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama that plan to pursue postsecondary education at an accredited college or university. Selection is based on Club member's leadership, character and academic promise. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have demonstrated financial need. Applicants must also submit recommendation forms from two of the following: a current teacher, a community representative, a neighbor, a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs staff or a minister. Number of awards and award amount varies.
