Annual award for residents of Kansas who are enrolled in a Kansas based Nursing program or studies. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Priority is given to: 1)applicants that are Western Kansas (west of highway 81), rural-based R.N.'s admitted to a Kansas-based MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner Program which is offered by a NLNAC-accredited school and a KSBN-approved ARNP program; 2) Kansas-based R.N.'s admitted to a Kansas-based MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner/option, which is NLNAC-accredited school and a KSBN approved program, who is willing to practice at least one calendar year, post- graduation in a rural (federal designations) Kansas town as a primary care Family Nurse Practitioner; 3) R.N.'s admitted
