Scholarship for graduate students whose research in Geology is related to earth minerals, except conventional oil and gas, capable of being used in energy production, including remote sensing. Selection is based on the student's past performance; originality and imagination of the proposed project; support of the department in which work is being done; significance of the project to petroleum, energy minerals and related environmental geology; and financial need.
