Scholarship for California residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students enrolled at a four-year college or university majoring in Recreation/Parks/Leisure Studies in California. Undergraduate students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and minimum 3.0 CGPA and have completed 12 units towards their major; graduate students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and completed at least 9 units towards their major. Selection is based on academic scholarship and/or achievement, professional affiliations and activity, need/desire for the award, experience in the field: paid and/or volunteer, leadership and professional potential, and references.
