Scholarship for residents of the Battle Creek, Michigan area who are undergraduate students attending Kellogg Community College and are enrolled in the Police Academy. Applicants must be considered a minority by race or representation in the police officer profession. Selection is based on evidence of strong character including self motivation, perseverance, satisfactory academic performance, and some evidence of financial need. An essay and a photo must be included with the application packet. Number of awards and award amount may vary. Nonrenewable.
