Annual award for fourth year students attending Texas Southern University, College of Pharmacy; Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, School of Pharmacy; University of Houston, College of Pharmacy; or the University of Texas, College of Pharmacy and are pursuing studies leading to a career in an organized health-care setting. Applicants must also be members of the Central Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the school chapter. Selection based on academic achievement (minimum 2.5 GPA), community involvement, leadership abilities, work experience in a health-system pharmacy, and career goals. Nonrenewable.
