Annual award for a minority graduate student pursuing studies in Library or Information Science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and show evidence of financial need. Extra consideration is given to members of the Special Libraries Association and to persons who have worked in and for special libraries. Preference is given to students who display an interest in special library work. An essay must be included with application packet.
