Scholarship for incoming freshmen and tranfer students enrolling at Northern Illinois University who were not selected for the University Scholars Award. Average qualifications of recipients: Incoming Freshmen-top 5% of class, ACT score of 27 or higher; or Transfer Students-3.5 GPA. Selection is also based on extracurricular activities. Number of awards may vary. Freshmen due date: February 1st and transfer students: March 1st. Award amount covers tuition and $300 per year. Nonrenewable.
