Description
The Lieutenant Colonel Lily H. Gridley Memorial Master's Thesis Fellowship is available to graduate students working on a topic for their thesis that is pertinent to Marine Corps history. You must be actively enrolled in an accredited master's degree program which requires a master's thesis to be eligible for this award. Thesis topics in U.S. military and naval history, and history-based studies in the social and behavioral sciences, with a direct relationship to the U.S. Marine Corps will be considered. Preference will be given to projects covering the pre-1991 period where records are declassified or can be more readily declassified and made available to scholars.
