Description
The ABC's "The Scholar" - Reality TV Show Scholarship is available to high school seniors who will have completed all high school course work by the end of June. This award is a reality TV show competition and contestants will appear on the ABC television series "The Scholar." You must submit a 5 to 10 minute video tape consisting of the following: a personal introduction, telling who you are and giving a picture of your life in a nutshell; a summary of your academic goals; and anything else you think the sponsor should know. You must also demonstrate excellence in the areas of academics, leadership, school spirit and community service to be eligible for this award.

NOTE: THE DEADLINE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED. The application is extensive and asks for detailed personal and financial information. As this application is a joint effort between you and your parent(s), we encourage you to discuss the process together. If you choose to apply, please do so immediately as the completed application must be received by ABC in Van Nuys, California by Friday, November 19th.
