S~ To proVide financial aid for undergraduate or graduate study to members of tBe Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) and their relatives. Eligibility: Open to AAAA members and their spouses, unmarried siblings, and unmarried children. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for .enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university. Graduate students must include a 250-word essay on their life experiences, work history, and aspirations. Some scholarships are specifically reserved for enlisted, warrant officer, company grade, and Department of the Army civilian members. Selection is based on academic merit and personal achievement

Financial data: Stipends range from $1,000 to $15,000.

 

Duration: Scholarships may be for I year, 2 years, or 4 years.

 

Number awarded: Varies each year; since the program began in 1963, the foundation has awarded more than $2.1 million to nearly 1,200 qualified applicants.

 

Deadline: April of each year.
